BITS
The BITs program so far is very fun and exciting. Basically, we have this Mock Trial coming up in the next two weeks and each of us has roles. In this trial, I'm playing the witness role for the plaintiff side and basically I have to get asked tons of questions that are going to be asked by lawyers. I will have to answer them correctly and according. I think its hard a little bit, but In the long I think it'll be very fun!!!! A sample of my work is available by clicking this link.
Post Secondary Research
At first, I used to think that college was not very important because not a lot of people that I knew never went or talked about it as much. But, I used to think about what happens next after High School, how am I going to become what I want to be. That's when I had a talk with my mom and she told me in order to be successful I would have to go to college. Now, rather that was my decision to go or not was another ordeal. She asked me what did I want to do as a career, and I told her I wanted to be a psychologist. Then she said in order to do that I would have to go. She told me 4 easy steps to help me along the way. 1: Finish High School and try to receive good grades. 2:Pick a good and affordable college that's best fit for me. 3:When I get there, try to be top of the class and get what I came there for. 4:Never settle for less when it comes to knowledge.
Websites: All 3 websites can help you find a college you would like to attend.
College Board is not a good of a website to find colleges. It provides not as much information that you may need.
College Net is a very good source to help you find your dream college.
Any college.com is a good source to help you find a good and affordable college.
My Colleges:
Central Penn is a great college that I may look into.
Cheyney University would also be a great college.
Penn State Lehigh Valley would be a good college.
This helps a lot!

Career Objective
One of my friends were facing a very bad problem and came to me for advice. Later on, that advice has helped her, and that's when I realized that I was good at something. TALKING!!! I love to talk to people and give them advice about different problems. I also like to listen to what they have to say. At first I didn't know what my talent was or what I wanted to be when I grow up, but then my friends have told me that I was very good at talking and giving them advice, and I thought about how can I use that to my advantage..and then I thought some more and finally I came up with an idea.... I would like to become a physiologist/Counselor.
My Goal
A s.m.a.r.t goal is a goal that has a Specific, Measurable, Action that is Realistic and can happen in a certain amount of Time that you set. If you set a smart goal you would know what you want to do when you want to do it and how you want to do it. It can help you become more organized with your future plans. If you set a goal and don't follow the smart pattern than maybe you just need to think about what other things you can do that follow it. But you have to be smart about it!
My S.M.A.R.T goal for the BITS program this summer is to get a taste of what it feels like to have a real job that not only helps you in the future but help you become more knowledgeable about having a real job and tips to help you along the way. It is a 6 week program that will hopefully help me figure out what I want to do in life. I kinda already have an idea, but this program can help me figure out is that really what I want to do. Each day I'm learning something new and it is indeed realistic and can happen during this 6 week period.
